3. How We Use Data
The optional email address (if provided) may be used solely to respond to your feedback. It will never be used for marketing, analytics, or shared with third parties.
All on-device data (tasks, goals, AI interactions, etc.) remains on your device. We have no access to it.
4. AI and On-Device Processing
Mira integrates Apple’s Foundation on-device AI models to provide personalised insights and coaching. These models operate entirely on your iPhone or iPad.
No AI-related data leaves your device.
No external API calls are made for inference or storage.
We do not transmit, log, or process AI inputs or outputs externally.
This ensures full user privacy and compliance with Apple’s on-device AI standards and GDPR regulations.
5. Data Retention
Feedback entries (including optional email addresses) are retained in Firebase for as long as needed to review and improve the app. They are periodically deleted when no longer necessary. Users may request deletion of their feedback by contacting support@miraapp.app.
6. Data Security
Firebase (operated by Google Ireland Limited) is fully GDPR-compliant. All data is stored in the EU region (eur3) and protected by encryption both in transit and at rest.
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
7. Children’s Privacy
Mira is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that such data has been inadvertently collected, it will be deleted immediately.
